As you might be aware the day here is approaching it's end with the sad news that one of the authors of my childhood world has passed away. I really wish I could turn to a DVD of Belle and Sebastian tonight, but this song by Don Maclean, about Vincent Van Gogh, which is now playing on a radio show I'm listening to, is very appropriately comforting instead.
When I was listening to it earlier I was thinking about the ep of the most recent Doctor Who series, Vincent and the Doctor. Now it's taking on a slightly different tone.
