Writer's Block: 9/11

[Error: unknown template qotd]I was at work.  One of the District Managers came in and told us what was first reported. We sell tvs so soon all were tuned to the news stations.  We watched with horror at what was unfolding.  My son had been out of the military for a couple of years.  I was afraid he would be called back in, but he had completed the amount of time he could be recalled.  My brother worked for civil service in air control. I called him and he was off that day.  Many of us had family who were traveling by air that day.  Management allowed us to make calls and leave if we needed. I am still a bit afraid that they will try to repeat it on the anniversery. I keep the families who lost loved ones in my thoughts on Sept 11.
