August 20 is a very special day
for the fans of James Marsters.

Happy Birthday to James. You have brought
so much joy into my life with your talent as an
actor and amazing man you are.

The world has turned upside down. DW is down and LJ is working....for now.

Got a message that LJ extended our paid accounts for a month cause they had
problems at the beginning of Jan.

Other than that, it's freaking cold here were I live. Again we might have issues
on Wed night with the weather. So

edenskye may or may not be out for our
weekly TV viewing. We spend one day a week just watching DVRed TV and
chilling out. We need that day to recover from our jobs. Last time this happened,
it was the day we were going to have our Christmas. I was bummed out for the next
whole week. I need my Tommy fix and will be very grim if the weather keeps him
from coming over.

We were going to watch James on Wedding Band. I've watched it and it was pretty
good. Loved hearing James giggling laugh. Plus James in rockstar clothes. Leather
pants and then no pants. LOL!

James cancelled his Austin Con this year.
Last time he cancelled Dragon*Con, it was
so he could film in Hawaii for Hawaii Five-O.

I'm looking forward to Danny's flashback episode on Hawaii Five-0.
Are any other characters getting flashbacks? — Terri

ADAM: As a matter of fact, yes! Executive producer Peter Lenkov tells us
that there will be a McGarrett flashback late in the season that is actually
a direct prequel to the pilot. "The flashbacks take place hours before the
pilot began in Korea," Lenkov says. "You'll get to see McGarrett in training
as a Navy SEAL. The idea is that McGarrett had actually gone into North
Korea with another Navy SEAL, a man who saved his life and was killed
there." So will we see familiar faces as well? "We're hoping to bring back
one of the Hesse brothers," Lenkov says. "We'll see what actually happened
with Hesse in Korea."

Keeping fingers crossed that James will be back on Hawaii Five-O.

Tommy and I went last weekend to the Dallas version of Comic Con.
It's much smaller scale than either Comic Con or Dragon*Con, but
I enjoyed it. Less walking and a single building instead of several
hotels like Dragon*Con. Plus you wait outside in a parking garage
instead of the hot sun.

Dancing fairy elders, bad Bill behavior, and whatever the heck Alcide
was doing to his paw-paw's front lawn were just a few of the hilariously
entertaining moments that Brian and Andy attack in this week's "True Blood" recap. Join them!

I watched last night's finale of True Blood and the last few moments...
I was shocked by the ending. And man, did I want to run as well.

I saw a video with James Marsters. He was asked about the part
he tried out for on True Blood. It was Dieter Braun who was an
ancient male vampire, who works for the Authority as an "intelligence"
specialist. Mature, self-possessed, calm and authoritative, with a
piercing gaze. Dieter is extremelyintimidating, despite his slender frame,
and he enjoys using innovative methods to torture prisoners
during interrogation. James said they thought he was too short to
go up against Eric. Guess they never watched James in his other roles.
Most of the characters he plays end up going against taller actors. And
he manages to go toe to toe with them easily. So boo to True Blood casting.
It was their loss.

If you haven't seen it, be warned this review gives away all kinds of spoilers.
Clearly, Annalee Newitz who wrote the review is a huge Buffy fan just like we are.
This review has photos, spoilers and one video. I don't know if overseas fans will be
able to see the video since it's a CW network video.

John Barrowman tells us about the sex, explosions and
being a "big gay hero" in Torchwood: Miracle Day.

I would love it if Capt John was the past relationship that
John talks about, but I doubt it will be. Hopefully, this series
does well and Capt John is brought back.

Even if James isn't asked to be in the new Torchwood, he is going to be in the next season of Hawaii Five-O.
Also, James has said he is going to be in the play, Frost/Nixon, for LA Theater Works opposite Stacy Keach.
Keach has played Nixon in this play before. This time James will play Frost.
