I stare into the mirror and can’t really see who I am.

The monks used Buffy to create me, so shouldn’t I be shorter, have blonde hair or green eyes?

I jump when I turn around because Spike is standing behind me.

That gets him a thump on the arm. He growls and rubs where I hit him.

My weak punch didn’t hurt him a bit, but he plays like it did.

I look in the mirror again.

Spike and I have the same blue eyes.

Maybe the monks took a little of him as well to make me me.

Dawn loved to watch Disney’s Sleeping Beauty.

Spike was bored so he told her how the original story was about necrophilia and cannibalism.

“Beauty was dead when the Prince found her. He had sex with her and returned to his wife.

Beauty woke up after giving birth to twins. The Prince found out and took them home.

The wife tried to cook the twins and serve them to the prince.

She failed and was burned as punishment. “

“Eww…Spike, that’s not a fairy tale ending. “

“Bit, life isn’t a fairy tale. Better to know it and not be disappointed.”
