I was able to import my LJ to DW. I was scanning some of the posts to see how far back it went. I got back to 2011 and stopped. Lots of videos and photos did survive. It was fun reading some of the older posts.

Wishing joy and love to all on Live Journal and Dreamwidth.
May the holidays be filled with happiness and 2014 bring only
good things to your life.

Did this of Cordy for nekid guest of Aug on [livejournal.com profile] nekid_spike .
Thought I would share it here as well. Click for a bit of art... )

Why can't LJ just leave things alone?
Now they are changing the home page.
I liked the old style. The new one is odd
and confusing. I so don't like it.

I'm posting to my DW to see if it will crosspost to LJ.

I haven't been able to get onto LJ since Monday.

I saw the LJ post about finding out which cluster you were on and
guess what?  I couldn't get that page to load.

Now I finally got it to load and find out I'm on this...ChickenTikka (#9).
What a stupid name for a grouping.  ChickenTikka (#9)  *sigh

On Live Journal, The First has a personal journal.
He reminds me of The Mayor.  He has a sense of humor. LOL!
He hasn't posted in a while, but it still there for you to read.
I've only read a few posts, but will keep it bookmarked.

Emails?

On Wed, I got an email from someone named Lacey Cruz. It was also sent to some of my LJ friends. The name Lacey Cruz sounded really familiar.  Like an idiot I opened it.  It took me to some site that was selling something. I deleted it.

Today on Friday, I got another one from [livejournal.com profile] ash_carpenter also sent to several LJ friends and an award site on LJ.  I sent Ash a message warning her about it.

So I'm taking my email address off my LJ profile.  Just wanted to let others know if they got an strange email not to open it, but to mark it as spam.

I got a notice today that someone left a comment on a drabble
I posted in 2009 on
[livejournal.com profile] buffydrabble on LJ. It was an odd comment
so I checked out the user. Lots of comments made by
[livejournal.com profile] hotemkaan.
No posts on their LJ.

This was the comment left on the drabble:

Your house is valueble for me. Thanks! http://onesmilefact.blogspot.com/

So I reported and banned this user.  Just wanted to share the warning.

Sept. 25 is [personal profile] lady_windermere 's Birthday.

She is known by [livejournal.com profile] woman_of_ on LJ.

She is a wonderful friend no matter what you call her.

She had been missing from both DW and LJ for
too long. I hope where ever she is, she is well
and knows she is missed by many.

Here is a Christian Kane video. She loves Christian.

I hope she sees this and it makes her smile.

Posted my Nekid Numbers to [livejournal.com profile] nekid_spike and got this message:

Logging in to server... Also, the server has a message for you:

The password should contain at least one upper case letter
Your password is too easy to guess. It's recommended that
you change it, otherwise you risk having your journal hijacked.
Please see http://www.livejournal.com/support/faqbrowse.bml?faqid=71
or LiveJournal.com's password rules, and visit
http://www.livejournal.com/changepassword.bml to change your password.

WTF???  This is the same password I've used since I started this journal.
Is something going on with LJ again?  I have a very random password.
Nothing in it relates to me in any way.  I use it because it is random, but
simple for me to remember. Is anyone else getting messages like this?

o_O Huh?

Ran across this and went "What?".
Who is making this money?
Cause I'm not seeing any of it.
LOL!

My site is worth
$30,954,905.40
How much is yours worth?

One of the new shows last season that I loved was Game Of Thrones.
George R.R. Martin has a journal here:[livejournal.com profile] grrm
I love that he has a blog on LJ instead of some fancy site.
Makes him more of a real person to me.

Okay, at first, I was offended by my results.
Then I realized, this is based on public posts.
So I am being judged only on what I allow strangers to see.
My flist knows the real weirdo I am.
Hee!

So, kudagirl, your LiveJournal reveals…

You are… 0% unique, 6% peculiar, 30% interesting, 44% normal and 20% herdlike (partly because you, like everyone else, enjoy vampires). When it comes to friends you are popular. In terms of the way you relate to people, you are wary of trusting strangers. Your writing style (based on a recent public entry) is conventional.

Your overall weirdness is: 11

(The average level of weirdness is: 28.
You are weirder than 20% of other LJers.)

Find out what your weirdness level is!

Title: The Erotic Writings Of A Former Watcher
Prompt: Whine/Wine
Summary: Lydia has found a new past time.
Disclaimer: Not Joss, just me, no money, just love

*~*

He slipped the pins from the blond hair causing it to cascade across her bare shoulders.

William sighed with pleasure as  a blush flowed across her skin.

His demon loved how her body reacted to his touch.

He had wasted too many years chasing the Slayer.

The vampire ran his rough tongue down her graceful neck.

She shivered as her vampire lover nipped his way down her body.

Swirling the red wine in her glass, Lydia sighed in pleasure.

Her life had changed when she found Live Journal.

Writing erotic vampire porn was much more satisfying than being a watcher.

Test post

It seems that if someone clicks on your title of your post,
they see several ways to share your post.

more information.... )

This was Gill's and
[info]slaymesoftly's  test posts.  As you can see,
when I clicked on their title "test post" I was able to share it on my journal.
Didn't want to put it on FB or twitter, so here it is.

LJ?

Seems LJ is having issues again.  I read [info]slaymesoftly 's Home Is Where They Have To Take
You In - Chapter Eleven.  I left a comment and it seemed to take a very long time to post the
comment. It was still connecting so I opened a new tab.  I checked on her journal and the
comment posted. Yet  the original page was still trying to connect.

I checked LJ status page.  It says they are having issues with scrapbook again.
Guess it screws up everything. Is anyone else having problems?

I love the Spotlight feature on the home page.
Though it I have found some interesting LJ communities and LJ journals.

This week [livejournal.com profile] merry_fates  is mentioned. I checked it out and found
an original vampire story which I really enjoyed.  I think I might have to
friend [livejournal.com profile] tessagratton .  Or maybe I'll just lurk a bit on her journal. Hee!
