Special congratulations to my very good friend, mabel_marsters won awards for
Witch Way Round? and Crash, Bang, Wallop!.

She is amazing in so many ways. She was the reason I joined LJ and attempted to write myself.

She had faith in me and encouraged me to post drabbles. Due to her support, I won my first award this round.

Thanks to mabel_marsters and the lovely person who nominated me for the Where's My Cookie category for drabbles.

Drabbles are the redheaded stepchild of fiction. Many look down on them as just an exercise in writing.

To me, drabbles are 100 words that will give you an emotional jab.  A good drabble will get you to laugh, cry or think.

To create an emotional moment in just 100 words is quite a task.


I belong to open_on_sunday which won the award for Better Crypts and Graveyards.

open_on_sunday is a drabble community which is a wonderful place for drabble writers.

The mod gives us a word as a prompt and a few days to create a work.
