Facebook and Twitter
Sep. 2nd, 2010 06:31 amMost of my flist is ticked off about the cross posting to Facebook and/or Twitter.
Thankfully, I am not involved with either of those sites or services.
I seldom have my real name on anything online. My family and friends outside of
fandom know nothing about what I put on LJ. It's none of their business what I do
here on LJ.
So I am not too worried about the cross posting issue, but have added this to my css
as instructed by
jaded_jamie :
1: Go to customize your journal.
2: Navigate your way to the CSS box
3: If there is writing in that box, scroll to the bottom and paste this code:
.b-repost-item {display:none}
4: Click Save Changes
5: Be happy, cos now no one can cross post comments
on your LJ :)
6: Be warned though, people can still link your comments on other journals to these services.
Thank goodness for friends like Jamie. Otherwise I would be wandering around lost in computer land.
