Lots of random things

rivertempest posted on LJ for the first time in four years. She writes amazing fanfiction. We met through her Buffy fanfiction. She left that to write for Harry Potter. We met at Dragon Con and had a great time. She had written a story for someone years ago in the fandom of Harry Potter and posted it. Some troll was upset lately about the pairing in the storyline. The troll left harsh comments on the story. Then used the story to rewrite it even used almost the same title. As expected this led to issues. My friend has reported the issue. Hopefully it will be settled and the troll will be banned.

Trump has shown once again how hateful he is. Hopped up on covid-19 meds, he is trying to say covid-19 isn't that bad. Tell that to the families who have lost loved ones and were unable to be with them at the end. Please vote no matter who you follow. I had a coworker tell me he was voting for Trump because his 401 account was good. Guess money means more to him than the safety of his country or family.

Opinion: Abortion

Roe vs Wade is being threatened again. It has been limited till it was chipped to pieces. Now there is a push to repeal it completely. Roe vs Wade is about choice not abortion. Pro-life people will say it's murder. I can understand their point of view. They don't seem to understand the whole issue. It's not about wanting to get rid of a child. It's a mixture of issues.
