Still working on setting up my Dreamwidth

I managed to import most of my Live Journal to my new account here.

Have an appointment to do my taxes today. I had used AARP free tax services, but covid caused problems getting an appointment. So H&R Block it is.

Looks like we will have some more winter weather this week. This weather is odd even for Texas. Two weeks ago on Thursday there was ice. The next Thursday it was 80 degrees. This week was hot till yesterday when we were cloudy and very cool. We may have some sleet this week. I am looking for summer heat. And yes when it's 100 plus I will bitch about that.

When I left to go to work yesterday, my check engine light came on. My poor old car. I bought it in 2001 just days before 911. Yes, it very old. I have taken good care of it and it gets me where I need to go. I can't afford a new car or a car payment. I just keep her going with treating her kindly. Everytime I have her worked on, some young guy is amazed how she well she is working. Seems there was a bit of dirt on the sensor and she will live to drive again.

I tend to be early for everything. I'm famous for it. My boss tells people if I'm late for work she knows I must be in a ditch somewhere. I went to get my taxes done today. They couldn't find my appointment. I double checked and it was for next Tuesday. I was a whole week early. They weren't busy so they took me today. LOL.

It was sprinkling when I left this morning. As I got home it changed into tiny pellets of ice. Crazy weather for March in TX. 🌨️
