Depp vs Heard

kudaThe verdict came down today. Depp won and HEARD won. In truth neither won. They both were a hot mess.
Now Heard is trying to say it's a set back for women. Not to me. My opinion is she is a user. I don't mean she uses drugs, although she may. I mean she tried to use marriage as a stepping stone. Johnny had fame, money and power. I feel like she tried to use him to get ahead in Hollywood. When she wasn't successful, she decided to play the victim.
Depp had his own demons. He wasn't innocent by any means. I feel like Heard manipulated him to try to gain attention and to destroy him. I am glad it's over. Hopefully they get the help they need. Depp seems to have renewed his career. If he cleans himself up and acts like an adult, he has a chance. Robert Downey Jr was able to hit rock bottom and come back. Depp could as well.
Heard has screwed up. It will be difficult for her to be trusted by the industry now. Will they be willing to give her a chance? She will have to work very hard to prove herself. Just my opinion.
