kudaTexas has had an ice storm for several days. Monday I called out cause I was worn out. Tuesday I went to do laundry at 6am. Roads were okay. Finished around 7:30 am and the car and ground was beginning to ice over. It got worse quickly. Everything had a good inch of ice on it. Then Wednesday it started to rain. Ice melted, but overnight it froze. Now it was slick ice. I still didn't feel well so called out again for Thursday.
Friday I had to go back to work. Car was a chunk of ice. I was chipping away at it. A young man saw me and stopped to help. Otherwise I would have late. Thank you Drake! Your momma raised a good son. 👏
Six hours later it's 50 degrees and ice is melted. You can bet if there is any wet areas it will freeze overnight.
I grew up in TX and if it snowed, it maybe be an inch and melted before it got dark. Yet climate change isn't real.🙄
