Here, but not feeling great.

Yesterday, I came home from work with a migraine. 

I felt off all day, but late in the afternoon it hit me big time.

I kept watching the clock because I knew they wouldn't let me go home early.

The girl who was schedule next in my area ended up being late to work.

Yep, that's my life.  I went to bed when I got home. I called into work today.

I was so tired and worn out. I didn't even get online here till this afternoon.

This was only the third time I ever had a migraine.  The last time was over ten years ago.

So if you have posted something, I'm not ignoring you. I just can't think straight at the moment.

Generally, not a pleasant experience. (I so agree with this term.)

yes... it is most definitely referring to the marijuana... and also, upon occasion, any substance with similar uses. too,
properly, of course, it is a golfing term, but that’s really not very much fun, now is it? (WTF!)

Thanks. I don't know what triggered the migraine. It's very unusual for me to even have a headache.

I did try my hometown, but the definition was for a town up north. Nothing like my small farming town where I grew up. So I did Texas instead. Yes, "Tommy" was a world away from my Tommy. It's so dry here. It's very hot as well. We need some rain.

Migraines are just...horrible. It's a good thing you went straight to bed. Sleep is the only thing that seems to work for me, when I get one. I usually feel the effects of the migraine for a couple of days afterward. I really feel for those who get them often.

I'm sorry you aren't feeling well. I suffer from migraines often. There are times when I lay in the dark all day because of it. Take Excedrine (sp?) Migraine. For an over the counter drug, it works pretty fast.
