“You should have seen the Whelp when that thing ran at him. 
He screamed like a little girl and started hitting it over the head with a mace. 
It was only about three feet tall, but seemed to have a death wish. When he
struck the killing blow, it burst into a slimy mess that was flew everywhere. “

“Yes, it was very gross.  It smelled worse than Xander’s sweaty socks.
I made him bathe many times before I allowed him to kiss me again.”

Xander was okay with being teased.  Seeing Buffy laugh like this again was worth it.

Thanks. I think Buffy needed to laugh. Just a tiny moment when they all seemed to be getting along which would make me smile.
