Searching

Tommy and I went to see the movie Searching today.  Neither of us had a real desire to see this movie, but nothing else was playing that seemed more interesting.  Searching is about a father played by John Cho who's 16 year old daughter disappears.  He then goes through her laptop trying to find out anything he can to help the police to find her.  Debra Messing plays the Det. who takes the case.  The more he searches his daughter's laptop history, the stranger things get. He is shocked to find out his daughter isn't who he thinks she is.  Every time you think you understand what is happening, there is a twist. The father suppects his own brother and you will too. But nothing is as it seems.  Even when the Det. sends him a message they have found the killer, it changes again. The true killer is a shock and even then there is a final twist that will have you wondering what is going on with this movie. The movie uses instant messaging and many internet sites to provide information.  The father finally realizes the one person he trusted is hiding the truth.  I highly recommend this movie to anyone who loves a good mystery.
