A Simple Favor

We went today to see the movie, A Simple Favor.  Wasn't expecting much, but it turned out to be really good.  Lots of funny stuff and even more what just happened?  Widowed mom, Stephanie,  who is raising a son seems to be so sweet and trying so hard to fit in with the others at her son's school.  She does an Vlog about cooking, crafting and anything that strikes her fancy.  She is a bit timid and the other parents make fun of her.  Then her son asks to have a play date with another boy in his class.  The other boy's mom, Emily, is nothing like her at all. Emily is all style and drama.  She seems to be mocking Stephanie and then switches to befriending her. All is not as it seems cause this is a mystery.  Emily disappears and Stephanie uses her vlog to try to find her.  Stephanie gets close to Emily's husband as it goes along. Then it really gets twisty and turny. Did Emily's husband get rid of her?  Did Emily set up Stephanie? Lots of weird stuff and Emily gets to the bottom of it and almost gets blamed for all of it. Has lots of funny moments and some really scary as well. Truly entertaining.
