Dallas 2012!

I live about 15 minutes away from South Fork.
Next year TNT will be doing a reboot of Dallas.
Woot! The neat thing is that TNT pushes the boundries
of TV.  They were the network that did Nip/Tuck and now
does American Horror Story. I can't wait!

I'm only 25, but I grew up watching reruns of Dallas with my mom who is a big fan. I can't wait to check out this show, but I can't imagine it'll measure up to the original (IMO not many remakes do).

It's difficult to capture the thing that made the original so good. They made a TV movie once and it was horrible. Since it's on TNT, I hope they will push to make it more edgy.

I just get giddy since it's so close to where I live. The house isn't as far from the road as it looks on the video. I think they photoshopped out the real road to make it look better. The Dallas skyline is pretty neat. I lived in Germany when the show first came on TV. Seeing the skyline always made me homesick.

Dallas was the first show to do a cliffhanger at the end of the season. "Who shot JR" was huge.

I noticed that they are filming again. I got caught up in the traffic from everyone leaving on Wed night. It was so cool to see SouthFork light up and TV crews everywhere.

I'm curious to see the new series. My parents wouldn't let me watch the original series.

You have to watch the original series. It was campy soap TX style. I hope this one will be good. It's on TNT so hopefully it will push the limits and be a good romp.
