DragonCon, here we come.

 Well, bags are packed.  Got snacks for the plane.  Got makeup in zip top bag to be inspected by airline.  Got a paperback book to read.  Now I am just sitting here trying to waste time till I get dressed.  I have to wait till the last minute to get dressed because of my dogs.  They get upset if they think I am leaving the house.  They took great interest in me packing my suitcase.  Every time the phone rings, they jump up and run to my side.  Everytime I leave the computer, the watch me like a hawk.  Haven't had this sort of guilt trip since my mother was around. My son, who has been told several times about the trip, still didn't remember.  He asked me what my plans were for Labor Day.  Lives in his own world at times. 

And I'm nervous.  I don't have any problems flying. In fact, I love flying. It's just the limbo I am in waiting to leave. Did I forget anything? Should I have done this or that? My stomach is twisted in knots. I am not a person to wait till the last minute for things. I am the person who is always early and is terrified of being late or making anyone wait for me.  Love my Tommy, but he is always late for everything. How we fit together I don't know.  Somehow it works for us.  He is so laid back and I am so not. Bless his heart.  Why he puts up with me I don't know. I am a royal bitch. He is a sweetie. I won't settle down until we see James Marsters, I bet.  Then I will freeze up and not understand English anymore. I've met famous people before and had real conversations with them. I just never read pages and pages of smut about them like I have James. I have a huge fear of either drooling or becoming shy and stupid around him.  Yeah, go ahead and laugh at me. 

Oh God. Now Tommy called and said to meet him a half an hour later than we planned on.  Crap. Another thirty minutes to find somehow to live through.  See what a mess I am?  We won't be back till next Tuesday.  If you read about some crazy woman at DragonCon, pray it isn't me.

Have a super time - but be warned, most of us are struck dumb ... so hope you aren't and can at least manage "Hello", which is more than I did!

Looking forward to a report and pics ... drooling from a distance!

I feel so silly. Tommy bought a camera and a couple of memory cards. So there will be photos. Hopefully not of me because I hate those. I just have to figure out how to get them from the memory card to here. LOL.
