Date: 2020-09-26 09:37 pm (UTC)Aidan turned 13 on Saturday and we had a video call after dinner (he is living in Auckland with his dad now, it was his choice).
Picking him up from the airport tomorrow on my birthday. I can't wait, haven't hugged or seen him since 18 July.
Life is NZ is pretty much back to normal, except there's a QR code to scan in every store/restaurant/business we go to, with the NZ Covid Tracker app. Elections coming up in October for a New Prime Minister and there are some scary people saying horrible things about Jacinda.
