Saw my main doctor today. He is maybe in his late thirties or early forties. Nice guy, very athletic and divorced. He's very straightforward. After over two years I finally got covid. He was asking me what symptoms I had and how I felt now.

Then we went over my medicines. I told him I was taking a D3. He then said people shouldn't take a bunch of vitamins. That I should just get more sun. My family history has a lot of skin cancers so I avoid the sun. I asked about the Lipitor I've taken for about twenty yrs. I've been having muscle spasms and muscle pains around my knee. It's gotten so bad I limp. He wanted to send me to a specialist. I asked him to change the medicine first to see if it was side effects. He really didn't want to do that. He finally agreed to change it from 40MH to 10MG.

We spoke more about different things. Asked him about getting the second booster. Since I just had covid I wasn't sure if I should get one right away since I should have antibodies for a while. Never got an answer because he started talking about how people use COVID as an excuse to to why they don't exercise, lose weight or whatever. This is why I usually don't go into detail with him. He is one of those doctors who thinks no one needs drugs for mental health and stress. I've never requested that sort of help, but I really needed it a couple of times. Empathy isn't his thing. He is a very good doctor, but there are times he pisses me off.

Fingers crossed you get better soon.
